5 Favourite Kdramas of 2017 Among Many

2017 has been a good year when it comes to Korean Dramas. It aired a lot of different themes and plot twists as well. Our ten fingers couldn’t even count the dramas that aired this year starting from January such as Tomorrow With You, Missing Nine, Naked Fireman, Ms. Perfect, Duel, and a lot more.

Let’s be honest, we’ve all been sleeping late from watching Kdramas at night. Especially if the drama we watch has a good story line. And because of that, here’s are our top 5 korean dramas this year that may or may not have made us sleep late at night:

Queen for Seven Days

Synopsis: Just for seven days, Queen Dangyeong was on throne because of her political rivals who forcibly expelled her from the palace. The king, missing his queen, is said to have looked up at the mountain every single day. They spent the rest of their life longing for each other after she was ousted from the palace so suddenly.

Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People

Synopsis: Set during the reign of famous tyrant King Yeonsangun, it tells the story of Hong Gil Dong, who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Hong Gil Dong is the second son of a servant, Ah Mo Gae, and he is known as the Mighty Child and have incredible power. This drama embarks his journey in becoming Joseon’s first revolutionary activist.

Father Is Strange

Synopsis: A story about Byun family with four children and the people around them. An actor suddenly came to the father of the family and claimed that he is his son.

Because This Is My First Life

Synopsis: A house-poor man and homeless woman become housemates in a drama that examines the institution of marriage and the problems that young people face today.
