While we don’t have any logical research to back this claim, yet we are genuinely sure when we say that KDrama can discharge those glad endorphins.

They influence you to laugh and laugh and feel all warm and sloppy inside, and the best part is that toward the end of a drama, you leave feeling like you’ve gone through lifetimes without leaving your love seat. To convey more joy to your life, here are a few shows.

1. Boys Over Flowers

Boys Over Flowers is a 2009 South Korean television series starring Lee Min Ho, Ku Hye Sun, Kim Hyun-jog, Kim Bum, Kim Joon (of T-max) and Kim So-eun. It aired on KBS2 from January 5 to March 31, 2009 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 for 25 episodes.

2. Playful Kiss

Playful Kiss (also known as Mischievous Kiss or Naughty Kiss) is a 2010 South Korean romantic-comedy television series, starring Jung So-min and Kim Hyun-joong.It aired on MBC from September 1 to October 21, 2010 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes.

3. My Love From the Star

My Love from the Star  is a South Korean television seriesstarring Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Soo-hyun, Park Hae-jin and Yoo In-na in lead. Written by Park Ji-eun, it is a romantic fantasy story about an alien who landed on Earth in the Joseon Dynasty, and 400 years later, falls in love with a top actress in the modern era. It aired on SBS from December 18, 2013 to February 27, 2014 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 22:00 for 21 episodes; the production company extended the original 20-episode run with one episode, due to high viewers’ demand.

4. City Hunter

City Hunter  is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsukasa Hojo. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1985 to 1991 and collected into 35 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha. The manga was adapted into an anime television series by Sunrise Studios in 1987. City Hunter was adapted into four animated television series, three television specials, two original video animations, an animated feature film, a live-action Hong Kong film starring Jackie Chan and a Korean live action TV drama.

5. Secret Garden

Secret Garden is a 2010 South Korean television drama starring Ha Ji-won, Hyun Bin, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Kim Sa-rang. It aired on SBS from November 13, 2010 to January 16, 2011 on Saturdays and Sundays at 22:00 for 20 episodes.

6. Iris

IRIS is a 2009 South Korean espionage television drama series, starring Lee Byung-hun, Kim Tae-hee, Jung Joon-ho, Kim Seung-woo, Kim So-yeon and T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) of Big Bang. The plot revolves around two best friends from the 707th Special Mission Battalion recruited into a secret South Korean black ops agency known as the National Security Service. As the two friends find their loyalties tested and forge new, unlikely alliances, the journey takes them from their home country to Hungary, Japan, and China where they find themselves at the center of an international conspiracy. It aired on KBS2 from October 14 to December 17, 2009, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes.

7. Missing You

Missing You  is a 2012 South Korean television series starring Yoon Eun-hye, Park Yoo-chun and Yoo Seung-ho. It aired on MBC from November 7, 2012 to January 17, 2013 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 21 episodes.

8. Winter Sonata

Winter Sonata is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 in 2002. Starring Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo, it is the second part of the season-themed Endless Love series directed by Yoon Seok-ho. Filming primarily took place on the resort island of Namiseom and Seoul.

9. Gu Family Book

Gu Family Book  is a 2013 South Korean television series starring Lee Seung-gi and Bae Suzy.The fusion martial arts action historical drama is about a half man-half monster who is searching for a centuries-old book that according to gumiho legend, contains the secret to becoming human.

10. You’re beautiful

You’re Beautiful is a 2009 South Korean television series, starring Park Shin-hye, Jang Keun-suk, Jung Yong-hwa of CN Blue and Lee Hong-gi of F.T. Island. The series follows fictional musician band, A.N.JELL and how the relationship between its members changes when a girl posing as her twin brother joins the band. It aired on SBS from October 7 to November 26, 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes.
