Kim So Hyun Gives Thoughts on Co-Star Yoo Seung Ho

In an interview, actress Kim So Hyun spoke about her Ruler- Master of the Mask co-star Yoo Seung Ho. The drama, which starred Kim So Hyun, Yoo Seung Ho, Infinite’s L, and Yoon So Hee, aired its final episode on July 13 with high ratings.

As part of a group of rising child actors, Kim So Hyun and Yoo Seung Ho shared many similarities.

“Because we both started acting from a young age, we had similar concerns and struggles. Seungho-oppa told me many good things, and he gave me strength just by being next to me. We also discussed many things related to our characters while filming. I learned a lot.”

Kim So Hyun discussed a particular scene in which Ga Eun, her character, found out the true identity of Yoo Seung Ho’s character and held his hand. “During filming, Seungho-oppa made jokes, so filming that scene was fun. We filmed rehearsals brightly, but for actual filming, we became more serious.”

On the topic of kiss scenes, Kim So Hyun said, “Because kiss scenes are always awkward, we tried our best to get into the emotions.”

Kim So Hyun admitted that her heart occasionally fluttered while filming, claiming that “it would have been the same for all females”, and also said that she appreciated Yoo Seung Ho’s ability to make filming more comfortable through his sense of humor.

In concluding the interview, Kim So Hyun praised both of her costars, Yoo Seung Ho and Infinite’s L, highlighting her “oppa-dongsaeng relationship” with both, which allowed them to easily cooperate during filming.
