1. The Beauty Inside (2015)
The story is all about a man who wakes up in a different body every day, regardless of age, gender and nationality and how the girl he loves always find a way to reunite with him. Ready your tissues fam, a lot of them! You’re about to experience an emotional roller coaster ride!
2. Miracle in Cell No. 7 (2013)
This story shows that even a mentally-ill father can do everything for his child. We know most Kdrama fans have already watched this movie a hundred times. But let us tell you what to expect if you haven’t yet. Again, get yourself a lot of tissues. This movie is really devastating but will give you a lot of life lessons you should treasure –and you might love Sailor Moon too!
3. A Moment to Remember (2004)
This movie will show you how love truly can conquer all. Son Ye Jin plays a fashion designer by the name of Soo Jin, who meets and falls in love with a construction worker played by Jung Woo Sung. But everything turns upside down when Soo Jin finds out that she has an early onset of Alzheimer. To be honest, this is one of the most tearjerker movies ever!
4. A Millionaire’s First Love (2006)
The story line centers around Kang Jae Kyung, an arrogant and very handsome but much of a slacker guy who has just inherited his father’s fortune. However, the only way he may recieve his father’s fortune is if he finishes high school at Boram High School in Gangwondo, a town that was dear to his late father. If Jae Kyung does not succeed in getting a high school diaploma, he loses all the money or if he resigns, and he will only recieve 0.1% of the money.
Things become complicated as he meets Eun han who is an independent young woman. Another bittersweet movie, fam!
5. Always (2011)
Starring So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo in lead roles, Always is about a romance between an ex-boxer who has closed his heart to the world, and a telemarketer who remains spirited despite slowly going blind. If you love watching movies where bad boys turn into a mushy cute boy over a girl, this one is the perfect fit!
6. Pained (2011)
This movie is not for a weak heart. Debt collector Nam Soon (Kwon Sang Woo) lost his sense of pain after a traumatic accident during his youth, and now regularly takes beatings for his job. Meanwhile, street vendor Dong-hyun (Jung Ryeo Won) suffers from severe hemophilia, a disorder that impedes the body’s ability to stop bleeding. As the two grow closer, Nam Soon suddenly begins to lose his lifelong insensitivity to pain and the hurt of a lifetime washes over him. Together, these two lonely souls learn to hurt and hope again.
7. Love Forecast (2015)
Kang Joon Soo (Lee Seung Gi) who gives too much of himself in his relationships but always ends up getting dumped has been friends with weather reporter Kim Hyun Woo (Moon Chae Won) for 18 years. She is known for her beauty and elegance on television, but off-screen, she drinks and swears a lot. Things changes as Joon Soo takes one step out of his comfort zone.
8. Sad Movie (2005)
This story depicts about several couples who struggle with their relationships. As the title says, this will bring tears and make you bawl like a baby so ready your tissues again. Initially succeeding as an engaging romantic drama with genuinely funny comedic elements, Sad Movie ultimately pushes too many heartbreaks too far.
9. Failan (2001)
Desperate to stay and make a living in Korea, Failan is forced to have an arranged marriage through a match-making agency. Kang Jae (Choi Min Sik) is an old and outdated gangster who has no respect for his peers. Short on money, Kang Jae decides to take on the arranged marriage. Failan often writes to Kang Jae in sorrow about how much she misses and thinks about him, but never has the nerve to give the letters to Kang Jae.
Things take a turn when Kang-jae is asked by his boss to take the fall for a murder in exchange for some money. The only hope in his worthless life is the wife he never met.
