[RECOMMENDATION] You’re All Surrounded: A Moment To Freeze

There’s a thin line between justice and revenge.

Starring Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara, ‘You’re All Surrounded’ is a Korean drama aired in 2014 by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) for 20 episodes.

Kim Ji Yong (Lee Seung Gi), after witnessing his mother’s death, became a police officer to catch the culprit. Changing his name to Eun Dae Gu in order to hide his identity, he started looking for the truth by spying on his team leader Seo Pan Seok (Cha Seung Won).

Meanwhile, Eo Soo Sun (Go Ara) applied seven times before she became a police officer. Moreover, she encountered other rookie detectives who didn’t want to join the force in the first place. There’s Park Tae Il (Ahn Jae Hyun), a mysterious guy who left his first year residency in medicine, and Ji Gook (Park Ju Min), a geeky guy who became a police officer just because he wants to live in Gangnam.

Uplifting the female officers without discrimination as her goal, Kim Sa Kyung (Oh Yoon Ah) is the new head of the Missing Persons Unit and Pan Seok’s ex-wife. Kang Seok Soon (Seo Yi Sook) is the chief of police who has her own secrets to protect.

While Dae Gu investigates his mother’s case, the team faced many challenges, such as how to hold their pee while doing a stakeout, how to eat not-so-healthy foods inside their car while waiting for the criminal to appear, how to transform from enemies to lovers and many more scenes that will make you cry–cry from laughing so hard.

Furthermore, there’s also a budding romance with the other characters aside from the main characters. Will they prove that love is sweeter the second time around? Or is it time to look for another love?

In the end, when Dae Gu found out the truth about his mother’s case, he has to face the biggest decision in his life – seek for justice? Or seek revenge?
