‘While You Were Sleeping’ Supported by Lee Sung Kyung, Yoon Kyun Sang, and Kim So Hyun

Upcoming SBS drama While You Were Sleeping gets tagged as star-studded due to its main  leads, Lee Jong Suk and Suzy, and also because of its special lineup of cameo appearances.

The said drama will center on a woman, played by Suzy, who can predict the future in her dreams, and a man, Lee Jong Suk’s character, who tries to stop those dreams from becoming a reality. Filming first began in March and, wrapped up just this 27th of July.

Korean stars Lee Jong Suk and Suzy will be joined by actors such as Park Jin Joo, Jung Hae In, Lee Sang Yeob, Min Sung Wook, and Shin Jae Ha. They will be led by PD Oh Choong Hwan, who has worked on popular productions like My Love From the Star and Doctors. It will also follow the script written by Park Hae Ryun, who has worked on known dramas of Lee Jong Suk namely, Hear Your Voice and Pinocchio.

Joining the cast and crew in special cameo appearances will be Yoon Kyun Sang, Lee Sung Kyung, and Kim So Hyun.

Yoon Kyun Sang and Lee Sung Kyung previously worked with the drama’s PD on SBS’s Doctors which gained a high viewership rating. They continued to meet up after the drama, and the two celebrities have decided to appear in While You Were Sleeing in support for the director.

The two also has a special connection to Lee Jong Suk as Yoon Kyun Sang played Lee Jong Suk’s brother in suspense-romance drama Pinocchio, and Lee Sung Kyung became friends with the actor, wih him making a cameo appearance in the actress’s recent MBC drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Both Kyun Sang, and Sung Kyung filmed their respective parts in June.

Meanwhile, Kim So Hyun will be joining the drama in support for scriptwriter Park Hae Ryun, whom she worked with on KBS’s Page Turner. SidusHQ confirmed this report on July 28 and added, “She filmed her part during the last day of filming [on July 27].”

This most-anticipated drama will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting in September, and replacing Into the New World.
